Dr. Pawlowski

Born and raised in Canada, Dr. Pawlowski attended the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales, United Kingdom, before completing the remainder of his academic training in the United States.

He obtained a Bachelor’s of Art’s (B.A.) degree from Princeton University before receiving a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from the USC/Keck School of Medicine.  His residency training was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he focused on integrating psychotherapy within standard psychiatric practice. 

Dr. Pawlowski is a board certified psychiatrist who is licensed to practice medicine in the state of California. He has trained with world experts and leaders in their field, including dialectical behavioral therapy and other cognitive behavioral therapies, functional analytic psychotherapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.  

His Practice

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Pawlowski is uniquely poised to combine psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy in a manner that resonates with a client’s goals and personal experiences. 

For some people this involves psychotherapy alone, focused on creating a comfortable space to examine and ameliorate the patterns and behaviors which may be inadvertently furthering one’s dissatisfaction.  For other individuals, the complementary use of medications or alternative treatments may be indicated.
